BSB42015 - Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts. As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of their team. They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
The BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management qualification is made up of 12 units and takes 12 months full time to complete, as a traineeship.
You will learn mostly on the job, in a practical real world way! In addition to this you will be supported with online activities such as reading, research, projects. You will also have assessment work for each unit of learning.
Yes, your trainer will work with you to make sure that you are ready to be assessed in each unit, or cluster of units. You will need to complete your theory assessment, your workplace supervisor will confirm that you have undertaken the tasks as part of your work and then your assessor will observe you at work to confirm your competence. Sometimes you will need to be observed over a number of visits.
BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway as a traineeship. You will need to find an employer to take you on as a trainee, where you can work and earn while you learn or you can already be employed and be able to use your current workplace for completion of workplace projects while you learn.
