BSB51915 - Diploma in Leadership and Management
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgment in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
The BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management qualification is made up of 12 units and takes 12 months full time to complete, as a traineeship.
You will learn mostly on the job, in a practical real world way! In addition to this you will be supported with online activities such as reading, research, projects. You will also have assessment work for each unit of learning.
Yes, your trainer will work with you to make sure that you are ready to be assessed in each unit, or cluster of units. You will need to complete your theory assessment, your workplace supervisor will confirm that you have undertaken the tasks as part of your work and then your assessor will observe you at work to confirm your competence. Sometimes you will need to be observed over a number of visits.
BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management is delivered in the workplace with the support of your employer. You can work and earn while you learn and be able to use your current workplace for completion of workplace projects.
